f... apple. Take em down htc. No more overprice brainless devices. And god bless people that buy apple pieces of c...
Let me just say, until their designs change from a Black Rectangle with a button on the bottom, they will probably keep suing each other.
Zeke, 17 Aug 2011"Now the last thing we want to hear Apple, HTC or Samsung pushing back the launch of thei... moredo you really believe that the N9 is all that great? 3 screens and a long long list of screen icons. very little apps to put on it. And the programme that allows you to use Android apps i dont really think is out yet so really what is so great outside the tech world who cares? yea it looks pretty but so what this was never going to save Nokia
Steve B...Jobbs... anyway.. back to topic.. i think that apple is going down... google buying moto, htc suing apple and lifting the ban of samsung galaxy tabs in europe... we can already make a picture
All busy suing each other, what's gonna happen if they spend all their finances in the court, later on this could bring more recession to the overall economy that is already down. comeon people, forget all this and get into ur businesses, u guys know that who ever is your customer will remain your's, and to greed for more will amways curse u... so just stop this and get back to your business........ or else___!!!
Stunning, the level of comments today. You all know, like many have said before, that this is nothing new? Patent infringment cases are as old as the patent itself, get a grip...
There is but one party that does not profit from all this; the consumer. In the end the cost of lost lawsuits (and even those that are won, in fact) is returned in the price of products.
So cheer all you want, it's potentially your money the companies are spending now.
Your saying your tired of these lawsuits? Imagine if you well that you created a product and spent tons of money on R&D. Then some guys waits until you put yours on the market and opens your device and adds whatever he needs to make his work.
Somehow in your mind you feel this is fair? Just a question.
Since apple has lunched its phone and it getting more popular we are seeing more of these law suits and if you notice you see apple is one side of all these fights.
but it shows two things clearly
1. the culture of suing that is so popular in US brought to the mobile industry after apple enters the game.
2. other companies see no way of wining on the market so they go to the court
It is irrelevant who started all of the suing. What is relevant is that Apple is behind most of it. I personally think that they realise that their phones are being bettered by the likes of HTC and Samsung (ie. the iPhone 4 is the technical equivalent of my middle-bottom of the range HTC Desire, with the top of the range Sensation basically making it look like a joke) and now are displaying a bit of envy. And you ask yourself, why exactly do people buy something that is obviously worse (oh wait, so that they can say, I have an Apple, PATHETIC). Don't tell me its better than the Galaxy S IIs and Sensations of the world; you can't argue with the specs. To top it all off, Apple is suing Samsung with regards to their tablet PC which is apparently copying Apple's iPad. But wait a minute, THE IPAD WAS NOT THE FIRST EVER TABLET PC, THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO CLAIM IT WAS THEIR IDEA. I would prefer it if patents did not even exist. However, out of sheer spite I now say ROCK ON HTC, GIVE IT RIGHT BACK TO APPlE AND JOBS. If somebody hits you, hit them right back.
Yeah its tiresome, but an infringement is an infringement and needs to be settled.
"Now the last thing we want to hear Apple, HTC or Samsung pushing back the launch of their next great phone because they were too busy suing each other."
I love that gsmarena.. haha.. :D
and when they're too busy suing each other and push back the launch of their next great phone, that's the right time for Nokia to release the Nokia N9!!!! hahaha.. and Nokia remains the top cellphone company forever.. :D
everyone sue apple please, let them get what they deserve . i wanna see issac newton suing them for using his gravity apple logo
Anonymous, 17 Aug 2011Apple started it so they deserve itPlease read my previous comment. These companies have been suing each other since before Apple even entered the smartphone market. Do people actually enjoy displaying ignorance here? If so, full marks for you.
