I think its a good idea to bundle some stuff with their flagship during the preorder period.
I probably would buy a Xperia XZ2 without anything in any event. But its nice to get some headphones with it.

Anonymous, 17 Mar 2018I'd buy it just for the PS4 and sell the ridiculously expensive XZ2. You might as well just buy the PS4 itself. I would buy the XZ2 (if I have the money) even without the freebie, for I know that I can't make a mistake with Sony.

Nobody buys a Galaxy S just for the freebie(isnt worth as a standalone product) they get. Can u say the same abt ps4? But here PS4 is a product which has lot more consumer interest than anyother Sony product. Obviously, this deal can be interpreted as a marketing ploy to divert attention to xz2 with the help of ps4.
