Elop Scumbag, 18 Aug 2011I have just read on another page that there is quite some MICROSOFT code (session trackers, et... moreUnless Anna provides a 'service' where it automatically tracks the user's location without the user's approval (fruit), a majority won't be complaining.

Just now updated N8 and C6 with symbian anna. Tried thru OVI but was not successfull as it kept on telling that service not avaiable. Then tried over the air update. First update was 25 MB. After that 02 more updates symbian anna 1/2(approx 24 MB for N8 and 30 MB for C6) and symbian anna 2/2(dont remember exactly but was about 24 MB for N8 and 28 MB for C6). Also updated ovi store and social.Till now every thing seems fine. Except that in one application "TOI", the touch not working, may be problem with application. No data loss and did not have to restore any data. Will keep you all posted for further observations.
Just updated anna on my n8... Yes guys its true.. Its available in India.. So all the n8 owners .. Go ahead and give a new soul to ur n8. The browsing experience has got improved extensively.. Thanx Nokia...
I have just read on another page that there is quite some MICROSOFT code (session trackers, etc.) and other MICROSOFT functions (e.g. bing, msn, etc) added to the Operating System - which are switched on automatically, and will basically check your every whereabout and/or connection to your laptop.
Also, the Quickoffice suite is disabled (but no MS-Office equivalent alternative has been made available), whilst there seem to be a lot of problems with new DRM-settings, prohibiting the replay of some media files and/or formats...
Be careful everyone.
You might want to consider twice if you really want to update your Nokia to the now fully MS-infested Symbian software !!!!!
