Who the heck wants to pick up their phone just to turn it on to check your notifications???? The Moto E4 I have has the best fingerprint sensor in the business, just have to tap in while it's laying on the table to check notifications or browse the net or whatever, no need to even pick the phone up at times.

It's sad to see companies like HTC, Motorola, Nokia, Sony(to some extents) doing so poorly in the smartphone world. Yeah, maybe Nokia is making a come back and Sony is still surviving somehow with it's lineup, but they are way way behind Huawei and Samsung at this moment.
The majority of the android phones found in stores are Huawei and Samsung.
Consumers and the markets need some sort of competition from the manufacturers..

slanted phone, cameras at level? that photo is a bad photoshop work, the front is even worse, shadows, stickers, moto logo,bad blending an lighting.

Wish they started doing it... moreThe logo in the Moto X 2014 (which the Nexus 6 was based on) was actually supposed to be a fingerprint sensor, but Apple bought the fingerprint sensor supplier before the Moto X was released and Motorola had no choice but the put a (dummy) button on the rear. If you remove the back cover of a Moto X 2014, you'll find a capped ribbon cable for the non-existent fingerprint sensor. Unfortunately, after Lenovo bought the company, the feeling was to move the sensor underneath the screen - which IMHO was a bad idea and led to the beginning of the F*ugly Lenovomotorola designs that followed.

Imagine if a certain fruity company embedded the fingerprint scanner on their back logo. That could possibly double the sales of the iPhone X' sales.

Motorola nearly have a semi decent design now that the fingerprint reader is on the back. But that camera module has to go - its too ugly. Fix that and its okay. The Moto G series will probably have the FP sensor on the back which is good.
