A notch on display is perfectly fine as long as there is no bezel on bottom. You either do what Apple and Essential did with no bezels on either side with a notch for camera or just make two symmetrical bezels on top and bottom like Samsung does.

Apple saves some space on top that would otherwise be a bezel for notifications and clock - nothing wrong with that. What for example Huawei does with the P20 is just blindly following Apple.

Notch on iPhone X and Essential phone is a necessary sacrifice until under display cameras mature. People like iPhone X design because it's sleek, modern and bezel-less, not because it has a ridiculous notch.

i dont really care about notch if its serving a purpose and if it is optimized according to its os and the ecosystem like iphone.

what is trading in China isn't what trading in Europe (or any were else sens no one likes copycats)
after the N3 I think they thought that the notch is so AWESOME it should not be used In any thing except there flagships
couldn't you focus on some things your customers wants like.......WATER PROOFING
the result of poor customer service XP
