(I am a flagship lover. I won't accept anything less than the best hardware) Currently I hold the Standard S9 (in 16:9 ratio it's 5.2, I wish there was that mini S9 phone rumored. blugh... >_>)
This is a small phone - 142.7 x 73 x 7.8 mm
Not small as I would like, but in these terrible times when people have mutated and their hands have become huge, devices like this give me some hope that I am not the only one with stalled evolutionary development
A notch and a thick chin? Are they kidding? Another proof that Android OEMs merely copy instead of utilizing design for a purpose.
Copying everyone else on this new fad. Pass..
DoA notch monstrousity, no jack....
Impressive specs for the price.
This is simply the China version of the Japanese Aquos R Compact.
Sharp used to find a way around it, by putting the camera on the bottom bezel, like the mi mix series.
The use of the Snapdragon 630 instead of the 636 or better makes this just a re-skinned Aquos S2. I was hoping they would come out with an international phone that would be competitive.... this doesn't feel competitive at all.
New terminologies I heard this week from GSMARENA
1. Bulkh effect
2. nits and
3. Color fidelity
The times when compact or mini meant > 5" displays finished. Is time of phones for orangutan hands.
> bottom bezel
> no 3.5mm
> camera bump
I don't care about the bezels. I prefer notchless phones. Also no 3.5mm jack. Two main reasons not to like this phone.
Anyway, it will sells only in Japan.

They would combine to make 8MP with 2.0 micron.
Like One Plus 5, but we know it fails
