Ok, so they're modifying apps related rules. But its nothing! Instead of a full comprehensive edit, this jerk is defending with such a useless explanation???
What about Facebook logins? Alright, let me vomit some truth.
A facebook login from another site has the authority over your name, email, friends' list, contacts, etc, etc... if it asks for it.
Just because we're logging into their site, should we give so much of our data?
For some apps, taking the friends list is needed. Like Candy Crush, etc.. so that they can connect you to your friends, what about others???
And why does anybody for that matter have access to our phone or email? These are sensitive info, which we logged into facebook only because it was needed for FB...

In the United States Facebook and Apple are now pushing for regulation. Hence, there are at least two companies run by liberals pushing for regulation. And why is that? It gives them a foothold through laws and legislative bodies to set the tone for the narrative of content and its use and by whom. Now think about net neutrality and Facebook regulation and the word hypocrisy.

Totally get what you're saying. Totally. Agree.
You said something along the lines of you not being happy with 'society' but surely you are part of society? Sorry, I know that's obvious but my point is that we as individuals all contribute to how we live, what standards are acceptable, what we put up with.
That feeling of mistrust combined with a lack.of leadership, lack of hope is not restricted to the US, here in the UK things are the same, I look across to our other friends in Europe, same is happening there.....it's all over.
Still happy days, the S9's just been launched. ....

I'm frustrated that things have to be either/or, and that there isn't a common sense middle ground where all can agree. The problem is I have tried to look at different points of view, but each side has their own agendas to push. I trust neither the politicians on either side of this circus of a government, nor do I trust any of the major news outlets, including MSNBC, CNN, AND Fox News. All of them are skewed. That's why I prefer to think for myself. As for Trump's base, it's obviously a large portion of the country. There are those that believe in the capitalist system, and therefore are business-minded, there are those that are conservative in the way they live their lives; those that are religious, etc.

You sound frustrated, angry, powerless, emotional may I say, I don't mean that as a big pointy finger at you, judging you or whatever, I can see you care. Never a bad thing.
How many people do you think you think makes up Trumps 'base?'
Who or What are you angry at? Why? How did we reach this point? Do you ever listen to the other sides point of view? Do you ever ask yourself 'How did this happen?'
