But all failed to ma... moreFirst of all, True but all of you are forgetting Sony did back in 2012 a 55' inch TV called CLED based on micro-led. So it's not impossible, it only needs for funding to provide for solutions and Samsung, Apple, Sony, LG and others have.
Second of all, a lot of companies are researching mircoLEDs and got some solutions for light bulbs, TVs and smartphones, tablets, wearables and more and Trust me on that.

Of course, because the demo units are relentlessly displaying the same content... moreAll of them are doing MircoLED. You can't imagine how many companies are doing it like its a lot really a lot like when the mainstream was LCD and not that companies did that to OLED due to the expansive build they have.
My brother's S6 edge has a burn in and there are a lot of phones have so don't assume that.

Been hear... moreBecause Sony tends to be secretive and I personally searched what they're doing on microLED and I found nothing but when I read business websites like LEDinside and others said that Sony doing something about it and every time they say that but the media doesn't spotlight on Sony's work.

LCD is still reign supreme in display technology, it even progress with time
Yes, it's cheap, not only that, LCD is very bright and more reliable at the same time, not to mention it high refresh rate capabilities(and arguably less eye strain)
Lcd maybe dead in smartphone soon, but other market will gladly take lcd other than oled, like monitor, live billboard, laptop, home tv, etc
heck even samsung use lcd for their tv
And looking back, sony and samsung did said that while microled is superior than both oled and lcd, the cost is still too high and is longer to produce,

While LCD is st... moreNo really. The issue with OLED high cost is because Samsung and LG use evaporation technique. The most expensive and less productive method.
Inkjet print is cheaper and it wastes less material.

It really bothers me how Samsung is the leader in Korean industry, knowing that LG is more innovative and creative with better qualities.

Its going to be several years before we can get the mLED's small enough to make a smartphone sized screen at a reasonable resolution. The reason the wall is so big and only 4k is because that is literally the smallest they can do right now.

MicroLED is the future, OLED is becoming obsolete, LCD is becoming ancient.
While LCD is still very much popular in 2018 due to its prices, OLED seemed to be not able to cut its cost. In the near future, MicroLED will replacing OLED and even surpassing the later.
