I have large hands but for my brothers and sistahs with small hands, they should have the opportunity of a smaller flagship. What they should NOT expect is a gargantuan battery but at least the smaller size makes it work. Last great phone for the small hands crowd was the ZTE Axon 7 mini. I'd like to see Google come out with a 5" Pixel 3 Mini with the great camera and stereo speakers so they don't miss out on those features.
Anonymous, 25 Mar 2018The LG G6 is the limit for me. I don't want anything bigger than that.I was thinking roughly the same sentiment. However, "old school" 16 by ... screen aspect ratios are currently where it's at. New fangled 18 by ... s.a.r.'s don't work properly with the majority of Android apps, and pillar boxing (I call it letter boxing for phones) ensues. I can't say I approve. I believe that Google will eventually require app developers to make new apps (and to some extent old apps) fit new s.a.r's, but who knows when that will be.
As for whether or not we need bigger phones, and/or smaller phones with flagship specs, I am leaning towards an indifferent viewpoint. Unsure.
ithehappy, 25 Mar 2018Of course we do, what sort of stupid question is this?
There should be three sizes, 5 inche... more"5 inches for woman "
Most of the woman i know use large screen phones.
Compact is better, it has more pocketable and convenience. I hate the giant phone swing in my pocket when I jogging.
can I have the option of having both?
Yes we do...
Many of us have more than one apparatus on the way,I use my phone as a hotspot for my 10 inch chromebook that I always have with me.
For the rest I use my phone for music and Navigation on the bike.
Mobile's this days try to cross roles, try to do/be everything .. but become to be too big for my pocket.
I do not buy small because I like cheap so it must have flagship specs.
Still waiting for a decent 4.6-4.7 i like to use my phone with one small hand. No need for a flagship just good decent smartphone. Al The relvant options but sony have weaker spec's than my 5 year old phone.
I always love with Sony's compacts
There is a saturation point for sizes, I bet there won't be a smartphone with more than 7 inches in size, they tend to keep 6.99 max in order to say it as a tablet
[deleted post]Exactly lol. Go back and read reviews of the early 4.3 inch phones around 2011 and they mention it being difficult to grip because the size is big.I don't recall human hands getting bigger during the last 7 or so years lol.
Of course we do, what sort of stupid question is this?
There should be three sizes, 5 inches, 5.5 inches and 6 inches for phones. 5 inches for woman and those who have smaller hands and those who like small phones still, 5.5 inches for those like to stay in middle and 6 inches for people like me.
Though screen to body ratio should always be like iPhone X's or Pixel 2 XL's, otherwise it's moot.
