Anonymous, 25 Mar 2018It's not a gimmick. I use S9+ and I still owned my previous S7edge and S8+. The camera is way ... morewhat a waste of resource for owning S7 edge and S8+ and now S9+. You can say all you want about better this and that. but from an S8+ to S9+ seriously? that's like changing from a 2017 civic to a 2018 civic.

Don't even start bursting out like "this is paid by Huawei bla bla bla"... S9+ has a great camera, it is just that Mate 10 Pro has a better camera than many people expected and they are now struggling to embrace this fact. As an owner of Mate 10 Pro, even I didn't know that the dynamic range of this phone's camera was so great.

The camera is way better than both of my S7edge and S8+. Go stick with your Mate 10 pro if you don't know what you're talking about. 3 cameras..pffft

I can guarantee that a Nikon camera or Canon for lets say 200 does much better photos than any phone ever created.

So this is like, mate 9 to p10, where p10 opted the mate 9 camera, and p10 plus where upgraded. This time it will be p20 (11) = mate 10 camera, p20 (11) pro upgraded camera. Same story again.

Nokia really put a good use of their big sensor and coop with Zeiss. I adore it, especially their camera ui, beautiful. But its nothing impressive when it comes to low light photography.

Well at least it has the 'pro' word. Thehehe. Look my brother own S8, and S8 camera are better than S9 in some cases. The aperture change was just a gimmick. Believe me or not, later on Samsung will follow this triple camera tech. 1st dual camera, htc, but no one care. After huawei p9 apply it, which come out a good result picture quality from their dual camera at that time, every d@mn company follow it, including apple and ehem, samsung. Wait for it, samsung will indeed put triple camera in future.

Still the best camera I've seen in a smartphone, because Nokia didn't give a damn about the camera being aesthetically pleasing on the design itself and gave it a properly sized sensor and lens.

I wish Huawei can take your predictions before they start production of their devices. I have an outlet where in we sell all brands of devices in UAE. I am seeing a huge rise in the Huawei popularity in the last 6 months and today at least 30% of my sales is from Huawei. Gone are the good old days of Samsung and I can confidently say that if this trend continues, by the end of the year they will garner a good share of 35-45 % i my store.
