what a joke for p20, totally a downgrade from mate 10! smaller battery and horrible design (2240x1080 notch design confirmed), you can get a mate10 with lower price now with larger battery, screen and same camera

Based on the Mate 10 Pro experience I had I don't care what size cameras they put in. The fact that you couldn't even install gboard as the alternative to the hideous swiftkey that was pre-installed put me off completely. First Android device I've ever had that locked the keyboard down. Even Samsung let you install alternatives.

The back becomes more fragile and breakable (glass), you cannot use your phone while charging, you have to buy expensive accessories, it charges super slowly, and it diminishes battery's life...

Talk about useless feature...

No word on wireless charging? That's the only thing that's preventing me from considering Huawei phones. It's pretty convenient to just place the phone on the charging pad after making yourself sleepy using the phone while you're on the bed.

They only copy the worst, the notch, remove the jack and now remove the sdcard? Notch = not buy, fire all them and the phones with removed features.

If anyone noticed, last year's P10 had a similar shape and antenna lines to the iPhone before it [iPhone 7] (the antenna lines were pretty much identical to Meizu's implementation but everyone will say Apple's...) some reviewers picked up on this similarity as well; whilst the Mate 10 had a completely unique (and beautiful) design that frankly took no queues from anyone else.

I think this might be a pattern that we see, in which the P-series will be similar to the most recent iPhone and the Mate Series will just continue being unique. This may be done to differentiate the two series as much as possible as they're specs are usually similar. This would be a good business move as they won't run into the same problem that Samsung is now facing with it's S+ line and it's Note line being too similar.
