If this won't have the notch and the design will be ok, it may be my next daily driver.
But please, leave the SD 625 or 630 behind, this should come with the SD660 or similar and a good display. If it will be like that, I'm buying one for sure!

A 2910mah battery will be affected by the larger screen size. It has to have 3000mah minimum but should be more given the screen size.

The Mi A1 was a special phone that had great specs and price, but availability was a bit later limited. Hopefully the Mi A2 is a worthy successor.

Like just charge it for 1 and a half to 2 hours daily . And if you stay in the field for long the compact powerbank will help see if you want a big battery you gave to compromise on thickness and for xiaomi it is aesthetics first these days which wins it a fuckton of design awards too.

Nearly all the internal components are shared between the two, so 636 is much better SoC than people think (and they think it's just glorified 625, which isn't).

It's GSMarena speculation. The why is maybe the 18:9 fashion that took over phones in november last year, after the dual camera one.
