Whatever Microsoft touches it turned to gold, windows xp, 7, etc, xbox 360 killed sony PS, it might take a while but they might just take over the cell phone market too, i'm thinking they're just giving others a headstart :)

AnonD-3226, 20 Aug 2011hope this helps windows gain apps, at the moment they have close to none...lolAre you serious? There was an article just a few months ago about the growth of the WP7 OS. It's has a lot of apps, and it's growing at a pretty good rate. It's not at the same level as Android or the iOS.

It's nice to see MS trying to reach out to prospective developers, which are the backbone of any OS's (and to a wider degree, an Ecosystem). I just hope that they would not turn out like Apple.

This isn't very clever decision coz there's no so many WebOS developers.

While I may not like M$ or WP7, having an extra competitor in the OS market can only be a good thing.

Wish Samsung could be as serious with their Bada. The only thing stopping me from their phone is the lack of communication app like Whatsapp, which everyone else practically has.
