Got a Mix 2, cracking phone. New one looks good but not enough to warrant an upgrade. Will wait for the next one. Xiaomi is a good unit.
average consumer, 27 Mar 2018Headphone jack is so useless that most flagships dont have them now, isnt that kinda wierd? Its useless so many manufactures remove the jack for now on. thats not wierd LOL.
No notch no buy :(
Notch is the latest trend....every phone should have one.
Releasing one without notch is a silly move
OP, 27 Mar 2018Amoled? I see you're a fan of screen burn lol. And these days, IP rating is so overrated - is ... moreOLED technology is simply better than LCD technology, whatever opinion you have about this two. Samsung's AMOLED panels are great. Only after more than two and half year I've started to seeing slight burn-in on my S6 and that's just because I mostly use my phone for texting these days and that's just like it's showing static picture all the time. Since then, Samsung's improving this tech all the time so I don't know what your problem is... I don't even considered phones without OLED screen, it's first thing that I look for and of course 3,5 mm jack.

hi jack, where are you?
OP, 27 Mar 2018Amoled? I see you're a fan of screen burn lol. And these days, IP rating is so overrated - is ... moreMost phones at least with Samsung AMOLEDS easily last 2+ years without burn in. And since most people change their phone after that point it doesn't really matter.

It is a fact that 100% of AMOLED screens have burn-ins, unlike other display technologies which are immune to that. And it's true that ingress protection is useless. I mean, no one has it's phone on him/her all day, thus is very unlikely to face water and dust.
The most important thing is wide angle camera.
No 3.5mm jack
Below 4000mAh battery
5Mpix nosehair cam
= Style over substance. If you like the looks buy it, otherwise... meh.

A owner of Mi mix. When Mi mix was released it was different had sleepless night to get this phone and happy with it but sad thing is no Innovation left in smartphones, they upgrade every 6 months by twisting here and there. Was expecting xiaomi to up the game with mi mix 2s or whatever but I guess they are just now doing what other manufacturers are doing. Where is the crazy features Mi mix series is all about.
No headphone jack > nobody cares.
Sony does it > Omfg Sony u suck omgg
(Sony preorder xz 2 gives you free Bluetooth premium headphones)
Actual points are 97.
the only thing that stands out is the 256/8 GB ROM/RAM (if that version is ever available)
If anyone was wondering...
The Kryo 385 was announced as a part of the Snapdragon 845 in December 2017.[8] Built on a 10nm process the SoC contains eight semi-custom cores, 4 high-performance "Gold" cores and 4 efficiency "Silver" cores in a big.LITTLE arrangement. The Gold cores are derived from the Cortex-A75, run at upto 2.8GHz, and have a total of 1MB of L2 cache. The Silver cores are Cortex-A55 derived, run at up to 1.8GHz, and have a total of 512KB of L2 cache. There is an additional 2MB L3 cache on the chip. Qualcomm expected 25-30% increased performance in task run on the high-performance cores, and 15% increase on efficiency cores, relative to the Snapdragon 835
