Camera sounds great, but do you really need to 3 sensors just to waste 1000 euro on it? Definitely not worth it
You do know the notch can be hidden right? Like I felt the exact same way as you and i really hate the notch trend, but when i saw that you can 'hide' where they put a black bar there that is flush with the notch making it effectively vanish. Then i was relieved. So ill probably get the Pro one :)
I would consider this phone as a realistic option alas cannot due to the ugly 'notch'.Huawei should have gone without it like in the Porsche version, could have been a huge seller.
So many different types phone on the market now is hard to keep up.
What's the point of TRYING to go all the way up but don't even bother to do the same on the way down? I understand the notch of the iphone X but this?
Anonymous, 27 Mar 2018Yep a lot of Samsung-Apple fanboys whining on this forum.Nope I don't see them. You are just being a hater.
Oppaii, 27 Mar 2018I hope that the P20 Pro will wake up those sleeping engineers at Sony. Sony is still asleep, no full screen on their latest lineup.
Geez.. This phone cameras are crazy.. I'll get the P20 Pro soon on my birthday April 6
aceofgenerations, 28 Mar 2018They had to make it look similar to the X didn't they. Sigh. You can hide notch in the Huawei UI and using it just for notifications on a black background.
Alien , 27 Mar 2018How many of those were sold outside China or India? I'm from Europe and let me tell you this: ... moreactually huawei sold only 70-80 mil in china and less than 20 percent of that here. Means europe bought close to 50 million devices in there
Oppaii, 27 Mar 2018I hope that the P20 Pro will wake up those sleeping engineers at Sony. as long as they getting cash on this triple sensor they're fine
Anonymous, 27 Mar 2018I bet next week Samsung will start to work to copy this giant sensor. Too late too use for ... moreSamsung already working on expandable and foldable devices, by then the gimmicky notch screens will be forgotten.
They had to make it look similar to the X didn't they. Sigh.
Anonymous, 27 Mar 2018Yep a lot of Samsung-Apple fanboys whining on this forum. This phone has made other flagships dim and dull, so their fans are jealous and eager to protect their beloved brands...
Does this have wireless charging? Because the Porsche write up suggests that it has.
I hope that the P20 Pro will wake up those sleeping engineers at Sony.
The phone is definitely impressive when it comes to camera prowess, last year flagship cameras did not present a huge improvement over the 2016 flagship phone cameras one thing that catches my attention is the amount of hate that this phone is getting whether for the use of the Kirin 970 or their MIUI and nothing much really...
Competition bringing products like these is what will continue to push innovation in the mobile phone industry. Not allowing carrier deals in the US now looks like a way to protect Apple and Samsung market in the US but at the end of the day we can say that Huawei manage to create a great product! looking forward to read the full review.
