It think, and is just a thouht, you guys should stop postíng reports about Dxo, they are just not a serious entity, i mean, they way they work is so doubtful
The Xiaomi LCD remains far below than Samsung Smoled screen
Notchsux, 27 Mar 2018Xiaomi > AllSarcasm, right?
Ppl were mocking the person who made the review because the EXIF of one photo was saying it belonged to P20 Pro.
Did you guys noticed that everytime their review comes out on same day the device is announced the score is high?
Iphone 8 / 8+/ X, Pixel, U11
Very weird

You have no idea what you are talking about, so shut up and stop making peopl... moreMicro led is a just that micro LED diode & displays will be just like big advertising one's you see every day just smaller for two orders of magnitude (100x).
Sure OLED is self emitting but each & every OLED display has additional back light to help self emitting organic led's.
Difrence is when OLED ain't emitting it's a dead pitch black & it can can achieve near infinite contrast because of it.
Any way micro LED's will be able to achieve all the OLED currently can without drove backs OLED's have (ghost, durability...) while being both cheaper to produce & more power efficient (with regular materials). While OLED's already have reached their capabilities & it's hard to advance them more with LED diodes it's a different story switching to Graphen can make them up to 10x more power efficient (which is an order of magnitude). So in short micro LEDS will enable 4K & beyond on mobile & small from factory.

You have no idea what you are talking about, so shut up and stop making people dumber.
OLED technology is superior to LCD technology, because it is individual pixels illuminating themselves, unlike LCD which is lines of pixels that are illuminated by a backlight... however, OLED does have its own drawbacks. Such as "O" the organic portion of the screen which causes the subpixel to naturally decay, affecting the image and brightness over time. Also leading to burn-in issues similar to Plasma screens.
The future is OLED-without-organic-diodes, or you can call it Synthetic-OLED.
Some people refer to it as microLED. It does take millions of dollars, and years of testing to develop into the prototype stage.
With that all said and done, screens are there to emulate visuals. And by that rationale they will never look better than real-life. They can look good, even great, heck they can even come close to reality. But they will never be better, so stop with this fanboyism nonsense.
AnonD-619295, 27 Mar 2018IPS is gray and not black.Wow that sarcasm for IPS LCD. OLED have deeper blacks is because of the contrast, IPS LCD have blacks too, but not until it is gray lmao, it is just not as good as OLED's contrast. If IPS LCD is gray people a few years back would be complaining about the display technology, what eye degree are u having seriously...
Imperator Neubaticus, 27 Mar 2018Lol who cares about reality? You have your eyes for that. Why do you long for good, color accurate OLED screns, then? You could buy a cheap screen then, where the whites are fluo green, the greens are pink, the reds are yellow and the blues are magenta. I mean, who cares for reality, right?

AnonD-619295, 27 Mar 2018IPS is gray and not black. In real life there is no such thing as a deep black. It's pleasing to sight to a degree but it isn't real. Darkness e.g night time, is not as black as oled screen shows it. unless u mean something like a black painted surface. So IMO oled may have more contrast but ips display is the closest to reality.

It's photo score is 101 which is higher than pixel2 photo score (99).....should i say more to prove that they are not credible anymore. Mix 2s can't even beat iPhone x,mate 10 pro,s9,note 8, s8, v30, iphone 8+ and not even 1st gen pixel devices. But reality is, more money= more score
