AnonD-743635, 29 Mar 2018Androidauthority shots are pretty average too, they blame it to beta softwareDxo review photos looked odd to me, I preferred the Pixel 2 in many shots. That smudgy skin in the bokeh shots looked awful in the images. More noise in some Pixel shots, but skin tones and detail were better odnbthe Pixel 2.
Fantastic news. Huawei should concentrate on Indian market and launch p20 pro accordingly. If pricing is right then it will sell like hot cakes. It can beat flagships from Samsung Nokia lg OnePlus anyday

The P and Mate series are high end and are targeted to compete with flagships from Samsung, Sony, LG etc. The pricing is about par for the premium smartphone market. The P series uses premium SOC and storage, has a great build and design and superb set of cameras (though missing OIS) so the price is about justified.
If you want more bang for your buck, the Huawei Honor 8 pro and the View 10 are much better. Great phones at reasonable prices, with same chipset and memory configuration and arguably better displays.
For people who are frustrated with the lack of good alternatives in the 15-25K range, my suggestion is to go for older flagships as opposed to new mid range phones. Flagships, even if it is an older model, usually offer a better experience. You can get an S7/S7 edge for 25-30K if you look around. Compare it to something like a Vivo V series phone, its far superior in every way, including display, performance, storage, camera, build and software.
Who cares if it is running Nougat instead of Oreo. For all purposes, it does not matter at all to the end user.
I recently got a brand new LG v20 for around 16K from ebay! Much better than buying overpriced trash i feel.

AnonD-658415, 28 Mar 2018Other than the camera, which is ridiculously great, they don't offer much. Seen some awful portrait shots with them though. And 4 seconds is no good for group shots in low light.
Can't get twilight in UK. Shame, as every reviewer raves about it.

Honor is online only cheaper solution to afford a Huawei phone. So p20 will be on 40-45k, and p20 pro 55-60k and may drop by 5000 after a month. If you wait Honor will release something similar sans branding and with a much lower price.
Anonymous, 28 Mar 2018Which series phones are better, Mate series or P series, anybody can tell. ThanksP series is most Camera focused while Mate is solid all rounder not much difference
Dear Readers please wake up there is no way it will cost 25k it will be atleast 40-45k for regular P20 while Pro will be around 50-60k if you want cheaper huawei go for honor
It’s going to cost around 75K

Aju23, 28 Mar 2018Price is all what matters... If p20 is around 20k then it's gonna rule the market...nice jokes.. you expect better camera than s9 and pixel(or at least at par) and performance on similar level for price less than third of them? really?
Take my money
This is gonna cost at least 35k and 50k for the regular and pro version respectively. No way are they going to price it around 25K. Remember , they launched the P9 at 40k plus. The Honor series is the mainstream series with decent pricing for good specs. The P series is their high end range and the pricing will reflect that.
Unfortunately there are no good phones between 15-25k apart from note 5 pro. But Flipkarts ridiculous sales process and Xiaomis cynical marketing means only resellers are able to buy. Terrible...
Coming back to the point, these are good phones, no doubt. Performance will not match up to the upcoming snapdragon 845, but its still plenty fast.
P20 should be 33k-35k. P20 pro should be 43-45k...

I am coming from s8+ and dont really feel like upgrading to s9+ which is a minor upgrade with a processor that has very high power draw.
