so will this Belle update work on N97, the last update was way back in 2009 I believe.... No updates on N97 since then.
Why, may i ask Nokia and all of you symbian fans?
cant wait for Belle, even though Anna is still my fav gal, but after seing Belle i coudnt think straight.
Why does Nokia refuse to ride the Android bandwagon? Doesn't it make sense? The public loves Nokia's hardware (both their smartphones and feature phones), but public affection for the Symbian OS is fading fast. On the other hand Android is the new OS sweetheart, but with a shortage of rock-solid hardware to dance with. I'd love to own a phone with Nokia reliability and Android use ability--I think that will be a worthy challenger for Apple iPhones. Better OS, better hardware.
just wait and see, but belle?! i doubt it, considering anna up to now is not on each and every s^3 users.
better clean your mess with anna first!
A thinner Nokia E7 chassis. Symbian Belle. No less than 2 days battery life of heavy use.
Winning combo for me.
Bella...wth...USA is still waiting for Anna....slow Nokia...get with it and quit making promises !
Haha. Someone's a happy camper here!
If belle update's coming in 2 days the world ends in 2012. There's NO way nokia's that fast. MOst likely its just to show off the new 1GHz devices that will be supporting belle out of the box.
It would have been great if it was 2008 and symbian would have had considerable market share by now but it's now too late...
Have to say I'm really impressed with Belle. It's looking great and I've heard its even more efficient than earlier Symbian versions.
Symbian is looking like a good choice again.
I took a look at the Bell video. I am impressed with it. Unfortunately, it comes almost a year too late for Nokia to retain me as a customer. I've moved on to Android as last fall, Android was the best option for me at the time. If the E7 running Belle were available last fall, I probably would have gotten that instead of my Desire Z (which I am very happy with). Also, if Belle were available last year, Stephen Elop probably wouldn't have decided to go with Windows Phone.
i see may comments will be posted when there is article about Nokia or something related to it. No matter its bad or good comments. it seems like this name has unique influence to call fans & haters. hehehehe just wondering...
Symbian belle looks nice. But one thing . I want even small icons is this possible to reduce the size of the icons...?
i cannot taste anna update yet, and belle is coming!
i hope nokia dont forget my product code again!
SYMBIAN IS NOT DEAD!

Bill, 22 Aug 2011Symbian Belle would be a good OS if they could bring the developers back
But I think it wil... moreAgree with you on that point.
Think the time line went like this.
1 Elop makes burning platform announcement
2 developers leave symbian
3 Elop realizes he needs devs to work on wp7 phones "ecosystem"
4 He puts more resources into symbian development to win devs back in the hope they will move to wp7 with nokia
After two days they will unveil it. Then they will launch a phone or two running belle. After that they will get released and marketed. Perhaps some tweaked N8s and C7s with belle might get released after that. Those will be marketed. Later you can have your update. Wala..6 months ! So rather than wasting time buy an htc cha cha (far better than E6) and plan to pre-order iPhone 5 to avoid huge queue and sellout on the launch day. :D Peace..May God be with Nokia.
n500 was just posted on philippine nokia website as coming soon.

Just I don't like the web browsing experience on phones, I just use it for see my bank accounts, read emails, check some status or read some news (mobile editions) but is frustrationg for other things.
I don't like watch Youtube either, just Facebook and Twitter. but that kind of service any phone can do it, I don't need nothing fancy, thats why I use an Tablet (8.5") or a Netbook 10.1"
Besides my head and my eyes hurt before use the phone for more than 10 minutes for web browsing on 4" :P
