Received Oreo 8.1 on my Nokia 5 in Bangladesh yesterday. Performance seems to be better than 8.0.

People are bashing Nokia for charging more for sub par specifications & comparing it with other OEM's. While Nokia provides regular security updates along with OS updates, other OEM's update their skins only. Thanks HMD/Nokia.

Owners if Nokia 5. Please tell how is the phone after oreo update. My girl has one, and does not go well, with oreo, some stutters here and there, battery drains way faster. I do not want to formate it until i am sure is not something that the system may cause.

After update phone is good. New menu, Redesigned notification bar. And most important thing, phone is little bit fast then Oreo...

the update is in the MENA region 875.1 mb with oreo 8.1 v5.580 which include battery saving navigation buttons , revamped power menu , new setting menu , bluetooth battery percentage , and finally (strangely) google security patch 2018-03 that i already got in the 11th of march... anyways that is all
