and by the way I do listen to author users %80+ of them HATE the notch
in China people don't care about copies since it is REALLY hard for them to get the real thing the IPHONE X is expensive in BOTH Europe and America and other markets don't bother buying the IPHONE X since no one will buy an expensive handset instead of a cheaper local made handset
the HUGE mistake ONR PLUS/OPPO/VIVO made is to try to sell a copycat were the original
version exist even if they can't buy it NO ONE loves nor trust a copycat specially with the amount of HATERS on GSM and APPLE fans in the US
simple right just learn to listen to your customers (as Hzmister said)

Anonymous, 29 Mar 2018I still doubt it's a stupid as the notch.The notch can be ignored and doesn't effect the use of the phone. Edged screen gives miss clicks and most people disable most of the features anyway.

Misspelling happens with auto correct, missclicks happens with edged screen. But ok, baby hands might not be big enough to touch the edges.

Here I am, not giving a f*** about the notch as much as Carl doesn't care for the broken slider implementation, only asking myself when they will finally deliver a good camera implementation. Users are complaining about useless stuff whereas there are much bigger fish to fry!

To get as much as screen space on a phone, there are only two logical ways.
1. Apple's way. Go full edge to edge, having notch out of necessity for the front facing sensors.
2. Samsung's way. Go edge to edge on the side, leaving top and bottom bezels a bit for sensors and keeping things symmetrical.
If you go with 1 yet you don't go edge to edge (which is what many OEMs are doing), you're stupid and just copying Apple for the style, not for function. If you don't want to go edge to edge, copy Samsung's way. Why is this so difficult.
