This is the best value smartwatch out there.
It is a battery beast. It lasted 75 days on a single charge for me when I used it as a step counter, heart rate monitor and as a normal watch every day.i switched off notifications though but still I am sure it will last at least a month with notifications turned on.I love this smartwatch....😍

Anonymous, 08 Apr 2018It takes all that info and send it to Beijing. They will have a file on you.Every company is doing it... Google and Apple started it first.😁 it's bad cz Chinese are doing it ?
can anyone provide their HW verison from gadgetbridge for their amazfit bip? mine is v0.11.131.5
anything equivalent to this does anyone have?
I received my watch one month ago. I charged the device upon receiving it. As I look at it now on my wrist, it still has 34% battery. Keep in mind, that 34% remaining has been through a LOT. I have changed the watch face countless times (there are 2 awesome android apps that have seemingly thousands of watch faces to choose from for free), I run every other day with the watch using heart rate and GPS. The heart rate monitor is not overly accurate, but it does show the increase and decreases of my heart rate; but the GPS, this is awesome! I find the GPS very accurate, both in distance, time, and pace. I have compared it to 2 other GPS devices and find it to be as accurate as ether one of them. It does take 30 seconds or so to acquire the signal, but after that, you're good to go. I had a Samsung Classic Gear S2. Was too thick and I thought it had too many bells and whistles. This Bip is like the perfect watch. I sold my Gear S2. I do agree that the texting notification is too short, and I'd like to see full waterproofing (like a casio or something), but that's about it, other than those two small gripes, I love this watch. I hope the Bip2 (if they ever come out with one) doesn't go in a different direction. I like that this one is so simple and not overloaded with features. I love the battery life, and I am in love with the reflective display.
Anonymous, 26 Jun 2018Does this give correct distance using GPS tracker?Yes,
It's extremely accurate.
Merwyn Fernandes, 07 Apr 2018I think you didn't compare them well.
I think you didn't see the control center in the lock... moreIts funny because everything you said is things apple copied from android.
You should look closer at things and not be a brainwashed kid...
Vegetaholic, 09 Apr 2018Xiaomi is Apple worst nightmare, copying everything what Apple designs :)Well I guess we are lucky they did not copy the max 2 days battery life.
"Currently, it is only used to improve distance measurements. A real bummer, since it should be fairly easy for it to keep a position backlog for route history."
This is not true, when activated to track activities it most certainly keeps a position backlog for route history and the route taken is visible in the Xiaomi Mii Fit app superimposed on Google maps. I have used this for both cycling and walking, and it is very accurate.
Moreover you can view your GPS coordinates on the watch itself.

Anyone has any idea that when will this watch make available to Malaysian market?
