If LG pushes back the release of its phone to remove the notch, I will salute their courage.
I am fairly sure it will be largely rewarded seeing the amount of people complaining about this design choice.
Basically, any flagship without a notch is going to eat the shares of the other companies that behaved like a herd of sheep.

I actually like that as much as possible of the screen is used, the notch must be as small as possible until sensors... can be placed hidden underneath the screen! Games and movies... must of course "hide" the notch by not using the screen on the sides of the notch!

Post is deleted after many ppl said NO for notch... same thing that xiaomi did with pure android vs miui so we only can hope that LG will give up of that notch thing... S9+ dont have notch but it have bigger screen to body than iPhone X. I feel just shamed that i was LG fanboy... Front camera on V30 and now this... They get rid of bootlooping and jumped into another trouble .... Nice job... Change CEO again... this one doesnt change anything...
