It's logical to test the G6 and not V30. You cannot test regular-size flagships against phablets.

But basically they test the new Sony smartphones against the old flagships. The iPhones are current, but they are known for bad battery life.

What's interesting is that the super-old LG G6, with Snapdragon 821, beats the brand-new Galaxy S9. I have always said the G6 is way underrated.
