Nokia is just one of many WP7-phones, and I think it will be really easy for "xda developers..." to add Nokia Harmattan skin to any WP7-phone that is not from Nokia. The only difference will be Nokia-maps, but there will probably be many other voice guided navigation-apps that will not be too expensive to buy that will be just as good as, or even better than, Nokia Maps.
The only "advantage" that I can see for Nokia choosing WP7 is because Microsoft paid them a lot of money when Nokia choose WP7!

This is WP7's best shot at making it, combined with Nokia's launch of devices. It stands a good chance in my opinion, as Nokia has many loyal followers, and sales will have a spillover effect for the other WP7 manufacturers.
However, if the launch does not do well, then it may be a bit of an uphill battle from that point on.

Mango (and Win7 in general) is probably not a bad OS, but I really can't understand the monotonous "one-color-per-pane" interface on most tiles.
Why can't MS put in more colors, or at least each tile a different color?
Win7 looks so bland!
