I believe it might be an error in the month name since even Google has not yet released it for the pixels. I once had a new security patch, but the month was named incorrectly to the previous month. This looks like it skipped a month

Better buy nokia next time...even their midranger or low end are getting better support than these...
Yeah, but still no Oreo for my S7. No more samsungs for me next time.
That means nothing I think, anyway if you want updates go for a Nokia or Pixel.

Anonymous, 31 Mar 2018My OnePlus 5T is also stuck on the December patch. Fu*k OnePlus. My Xperia M4 Aqua is stuck somewhere in 2016
I'm glad for people who get it, but my J7 2016 is still stuck on December 1st 2017 patch and there are no new updates available since then. And I don't really think there will be any since this phone is hitting "two year old mark" soon. So yeah, in my eyes Samsung is still slow with updates and nothing improved. To me it looks like they only care about their flagships, and almost never update their midrangers and lower end devices. So yeah, it's just one of the reasons why I will probably move away from Samsung when I decide to get a new phone or this one "dies".
