kevin97, 03 Apr 2018No, Apple was not first to use the notch. It was the Essential PH-1, released 6 months ahead o... moreWell if you want it like that, no, Essential was 2nd. LG V10 and V20 were first.
Thank God Nedo gave me such clear insight. I will now not buy this phone. In fact, even after the phone comes out and I've had a chance to look over all the actual 'real' features and specs of the phone, I will not buy it no matter what...I feel very comfortable following what other people strongly blurt out on the internet, because the more strongly it gets said, the truer it is.
looking copy of fruitphone from front and ugly like Lenovo k8 note and plus from back..this will nowhere stands against SAMSUNG S9 AND S9+
The rumors say that this phone will cost $819 (about £640, AU$1090).ThinQing in NO-tch buy it. It's a raise of $90. They just did it with the V30. If it's true I can't see the selling it well...
its hard to believe that the company like LG, who have been always innovative in terms of mobile design, functionality, and features. is now going to copy the design# notch...this is looking like nowhere stands against SAMSUNG S9 AND S9+
I'm not an apple or LG fan but have come 180 on the notch. It actually makes a lot of sense to use the space left and right if the camera and mic or icons. At the end of the vast with a black bar on an Amoled screen you don't even see the notch but you pick up extra room. Sure it's copying Apple but who cares... Just don't ditch the jack.
Shanti Dope, 02 Apr 2018Notch is only good for OLEDs, as when the screen is displaying black, it shows pure blacks by ... more You have a point. How likely is a runway model to find a cure for cancer? I bet a not so good looking scientist will handle that feat. :-) .
Anonymous, 03 Apr 2018Always late.. Still trugle with 16mp, while huawei already with 40mpBut there is no word about the sensor size, despite it's one of the most important factors of the camera.
- non-removable battery = deal breaker
- notch = deal breaker
- 18:9 and 19:9 screen = deal breaker
- curved screen edges and corners, no bezels = deal breaker
- no IR blaster = deal breaker
So LG G7 is a shitty phone. The only good thing in this phone is that it has LCD screen instead of the OLED with burn-ins or their Quantum IPS with image retention.
But if I didn't care about the above mentioned list (so if I was forced to buy non-removable battery, curved edge, etc. phone anyway), I would buy the Galaxy S9, because it's still better than the others. But fortunately LG V20 is existing and it's better overally than any phone from 2017, 2018 and the future.
Well, although all the rumours are pointing to the notch, I'm still hoping that the G7 won't include that/the HORRIBLE HORRIBLE notch.
I love the notch.
If the rumors are true, the LG G7 would make a perfect replacement phone for me in 21 months.
Headphone jack, check!
Water resistant, check!
That means an awesome phone to buy!
Face it, people. The notch is here to stay. No amount of complaining and whining will change that fact!
seriously have no idea what LG is trying to do . Delay release of the G7 just to make sure it will be better and also ask reddit users for opinion about the notch yet still want to include notch in their phone
Still trugle with 16mp, while huawei already with 40mp
unknown , 02 Apr 2018why all phones have a notch this days ? i jusst hate it.. guess i`ll be stuck with my s8 f... more1st i don't get it why most flagship need notch, but once see how huawei do it i want my phone have a notch,
