So if you are like me who wants to buy a phone with 3.5 mm headphone jack and without a notch then there is only Samsung Galaxy for us.
I am not a fan of Samsung but if OEMs keep notch and leave the 3.5mm , I will go to Samsung

For example, from G4 to G5, the battery was reduced by 200mAh but we know that the G5 has the superior battery life.

chin? serusly? yes it is small but why is it there? you can replace it with UI touch buttons?
NVM as long as the "all ways on display" is there and hide notch option is there I am ok with it :D
but that picture about "FULLVIEW"? after we tried to tell you LG we don't believe this $HIT?

just admit in front of the World that the only thing the notch can do is displaying notification

Notch is only good for OLEDs, as when the screen is displaying black, it shows pure blacks by literally turning off the pixels, which also saves up more energy.
The same time, when we find the notch to be ugly, we have the option to eliminate it or use it for something, like a function area (much like the LG V10/V20 and HTC U Ultra's secondary ticker screen).
JUST BECAUSE SOMETHING LOOKS UNATTRACTIVE DOESN'T MEAN IT'S BAD OR USELESS BY ANY MEANS FOR F***SAKE!!
YOU PEOPLE DOWN HERE HAVE VERY NARROW MINDSET! GO WIDEN IT!

Sadly, I fully expect them to reduce the size of the battery. Improvements in screen efficiency should result in longer battery life, but they seem to have the idea that the leeway gives them the opportunity to reduce the battery size. Bonkers. I just wish the Pixels would launch earlier.

What the heck is all the fuss around the notch thing bashing around like lunatics like you're some kind of standard people after which all of us must approve with. Using as much screen as possible feels so good. I'm more annoyed at the down bezel in some phone that bigger than side bezels. Get a life

LOL. Joke? Everybody just thought that LG will come up with a new/fresh idea for the G7, holding them back to release it in their usual cycle. But hey, if the leak is true, it's just a Copycat of iphone X and S9/S9 plus combo. Add to that is the f.15 lens. Come on LG, prove that you're not among those iphone copycats and wannabes. Or else, the delayed release will be just put to waste having all those imitated ideas. Real talk.

I have purchased, and "LOVED" all LG flagships since the G2. Unfortunately not this time. Reason: the notch.
