Tbh Idk about project treble, atm I'm running on Android 8 Oxygen OS including (swift black substratrum theme) on my 3T. I've seen the Android 9 white themed interface resembles like iOS wouldn't suit on AMOLED display anyways.

In theory it should make android phone that support treble will get update faster but in reality ?? I think it still depend on phone vendor. For now, xiaomi will give priority to update their MIUI than the base OS. And samsung ?? Nope

After google, android vendor with fastest update is maybe only Nokia and sony (for their flagship)

Even not getting oreo out of the box, honor 8 pro got it? Yesssss! Just got my oreo for honor 8 pro last month with many security update patch already. Huawei/Honor are actually good!
