Zenodroid, 03 Apr 2018Have you tried op5 6gb and 8gb edition? I guess not. You clearly feel difference on the 2gb. B... morei haven't read any thing about 6 to 8GB but I know when you have to much RAM and a $HITY processor when reach heavy multi tasking every thing goes laggy (like my Samsung galaxy tab 2 1GB of RAM is to much for an old 1.0GHz dual CPU on an even older computer chipset when reaching 600MB it NEVER end will) it is about balance between:-
the rivers flowing speed
and the space it flows through
why do you think that Apples SoC is the fastest chipset with such low RAM?
because the "river" flows fast enough for the "water" to go through the "thin river with out slowing down
some other examples of wide "rivers" is my tablet
any way I don't know way would any one use 8GB of RAM in any conditions
plus about tne experience having more RAM won't make it faster
in other words (having wider river won't make the water flow fast ;)

AnonD-744321, 03 Apr 2018speed? What kind of BULL$HIT is that? 8GB RAM is useless you only use 4GB in maximum usage 6G... morekind of weird my s8 4 gig have only 1.3gig free i think rest of it is used by apps to instant launch.
i dont understand it how phones with 2 gig ram can run android 7 and phones with 4 gig of ram run android 7 with less free ram

All android experiences will feel slightly laggy. That’s not a result of hardware as much as it is the software. Android is a laggy POS. Better chipsets and more ram make for a better experience but it’ll never be as snappy and responsive as an Apple flagship.

I still can’t understand how people can rate GBoard so highly, typing on it feels like trying to go for a run with your laces tied.. and that’s on a SD 835 flagship. Android will always be slow and laggy.

speed? What kind of BULL$HIT is that?
8GB RAM is useless you only use 4GB in maximum usage 6GB can be reached with heavy multi tasks but 8GB?
do you think more RAM will make it faster? yes it won't harm (except the price;) having more RAM but it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach 8GB even on RAZER PHONE
there is NO chipset capable of handling 8GB and no reason to try it
"speed without a need" that will do ;)
at least it isn't "DREAM MIRROR" or "ULTIMATE BEZELESS"

It's funny that Windows can run fine on machines with 4GB of RAM, while Android needs 6 and now 8GB to multi-task well.

The prices actually leaked are: starting at a price of 3299 Yuan ($523) for the 64GB version, 128GB variant will retail at 3799 Yuan ($602) while the 256GB variant will be costlier at 4399 Yuan ($697). Add the taxes of your country and delivery cost. An increased price of $50 in the base model and bigger in the rest. There'll be another expensive variant with Marvel Avengers theme.

So well, at least, the cable should be larger or with better quality... if the only thing that they are advertising is the improve speed due to the new SoC, not sure if expect any new feature aside the update of the software or trick in the camera software and the added notch which is refused by a lot of people. Probably more of the same with the updated SoC.

Zenodroid, 03 Apr 2018Everyone copies. And notch is and will always be better than edged screen! Get over it or buy ... morewe meet again "ZEN"ndroid >:)
this "smoking gun" proves you hate "sHamsung" ;P
any way enough talking about the past
you are right most brands copy BUT only under your standards of.....(COPY)
if you mean by copy brands doing something other brands did so they can keep up with the what is trending then yes they ALL do BUT
what most people mean by copy is copying a design to make it looks like the original and sell it under a different name (the same name fin case of copycats and rip-offs)
and about the edge screen
it improves the viewing ingles instead of making it wider (like early note and the mix up en note edge) but yes an over "EDGE"d screen wil make the grip MUCH harder (like Huawei mate 9)
ether that you had a very bad experience with an edge phone (note edge I guess)
or you just HATE sHmsung
or you just don't give a $HIT about copies and you don't want us to (I was trying to do that to)
I don't know you tell me ?;:/

Like a lot of new phones, this one is mainly for power users. I certainly don't need more than 4 GB or RAM or more than 64 GB of internal storage. The problem with the whole cell phone market is that there is nothing much new to offer buyers every year other than unnecessary tweaks and gimmicks - like the stupid notch.

Personally i think Asus Zenfone 5z is quite a bit better than OnePlus 6. They both have the notch, so it's not like either device is flawless, but IMO the Zenfone has more to offer than OnePlus for practically the same price...

Probably no HDR screen, no IP68, no stereo speakers, same noisy photos, underwhelming EIS, low ppi screen, no QC 4.0.

Still will cost more than $500.

What's with the negativity of this article? The company is doing its job of promoting the new phone.
