If you say that companies don't spend then how did apex come into being? Or mix ? Waiting for "innovation" by current Nokia. Wake me up when that happens. Untill then it's using same things as others anyways..

Not everyone uses a Snapdragon processor or a super amoled screen.
Chinese clone companies get parts sourced from the cheapest vendor possible so it's easy for them to sell at super thin margins.
No one will sell you anything at a price where the company itself goes bankrupt.
The Company cuts costs on components to make the phones cheaper.

People should understand Nokia is different and hmd mobile is different
Nokia is only concentrating on network side and they are not into the mobile side
And hmd is the one who manufacture the mobiles under the name Nokia and this agreement is only for 10years

Foxconn just manufacturers as per vendors description.
So how can all phones be same if Apple wants a high quality phone foxconn will build it if some Chinese clone wants low quality build to maximise their profit they will do that also.
First learn the difference between an OEM and ODM.

Nokia 6 is priced perfectly, 7 is just a bit expensive $350 would be good but 8 Sirocco no its priced badly S9 cost just a bit more and is much better

WOW R&D done. Congratulations! Now add a premium price because buy the brand cost a lot and must give a big profit forever.

1. Nokia HMD is no longer a premium brand. Now a day's premier brand is Apple and Samsung (Galaxy S and Note series)
2. Snapdragon 660 for 27K is highly overpriced. Soon companies will launch snapdragon 845 phones at 30k or lower.
3. Nokia 8 has last year snapdragon for 50k which is again highly overpriced. Google pixel 2 is much better phone with much much superior camera than Nokia 8.

And also don't forget that majority of Indians are from middle class family. That's why price is we Indians choosy while selecting mobile. Few thousands extra you can get SD835 Powered mobile that's how we thinks practically
