what is wrong with poor people my friend?
you can't blame them for being poor. some people around the world don't have money to live, now imagine getting a hold on an expensive phone. having a cheap phone is no shame my friend. a cheap phone will probably do everything iphone/Samsung phones do.
I used Samsung S2, S3, S5, Note 2, Note 4, Note 8, LG G2, & iPhone 7 plus. now I am using Lenovo P2.. so I can assure you, I can do everything I was doing in my old phones. gaming, browsing, etc..
all I am saying man, we are all human beings in the end and we support each other in times of hardship :)
so pls try to re-think about what you wrote. even if u did not like others' replies, this is life my friend. we all should be flexible :)

there is such a simple solution paint the underside of the glass and use the software to avoid the notch nobody ever has to know there was a notch except when opening it for replacement

The only acceptable notch design was in iPhone X. Their design is out of necessity due to the fact that they want to maximize screen by eliminating all the side and the bottom bezels. These recent android notches still has that bottom bezel and its a pain to watch. They maximise the space at the top and completely ignore that fact that the screen will be much bigger and "functional" when they utilized the bottom bezel as the part of the screen instead of having the notch. One reason might be that the droids might not be able to secure a customized screen from a manufacturer or just by having a custom screen is much more expensive but IDK.
