Xiaomi Fan, 05 Apr 2018Innovation not only happens in hardware, it also happens in software.Samsung should get credit... moreThe same way Samsung should've given Sony the credit here as it was their own idea.
I give credit to Samsung for the more user-friendly software though.

Now it's a feature not a gimmick, these 2 so called tech giants Apple and Samsung always copies other ideas and will claim they made it better. Smh.

Samsung copied the whole idea from Sony, copying is easy you know, and they got the time to make software that helps in capturing the slo mo moments.

only credit for samsung is the software, the idea of slo mo credit is for Sony.

It 720p quality only good looking on phone size. When share on the TV 720p must be less detail and quality.

"First off, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ can record 960 frames in 0.2 seconds."

No. No, no, no. 960 fps means it can record 960 frames in 1 second. In 1/5 that time, it can only record 1/5 the number of frames, which is 192 frames. Math isn't that hard: you should try it.

Is this a repost from last year or I'm having deja vu?
Though I notice that it is now from Samsung instead of Sony.

Anonymous, 05 Apr 2018Copying Sony sensor. Easy way to explain. Well, the sensor has half the RAM of the XZ1/2 camera, so they didn't just copy, they improved. (1080p slow-mo is also doable, but I put the blame on the two processors of the S9 for disabling it)

SAMSUNG = previous NOKIA ; Huawei = previous SAMSUNG

Huawei maybe will replace SAMSUNG as No.1
