Lol at people trusting their data to a sigle entity. IMO it's impossible for them to not use them... it's human nature.

In fact Zuckeberg himself confessed that the point of facebook was (at first) to watch other people...

Seriously now, centralized forms of data collection is so early 21st century. By mid century people would think us as naive for trusting single entities with out data.

The actual revolution that blockchain technology brings is that it allows for no single actor to own anything (everything ciphered and data requests need to be "mined" before going though, in other words if you can't sign the data request good luck in ever getting the data you requested). Passwords would be everything in such a world, people would use mnemonics for them, it is coming. The era of naivette is closing to the start of its end.

Information is Power and it was not only affected with US elections, Brexit was involved too with other big Europien elections. Worst is, that people willingly accept to give info, because they usually don't bother or don't care to read, until is too late.

They even "backed up" your private mobile conversation metrics and text messages without really telling you in plain English.

Fakebook is a censoring spyware that I stopped using 8 years ago almost. It's time for something new and for Suckerberg to buy an desert island and stay there. No one wants your drivel.

Facebook used to be everything to me until a year or 2 ago.
I haven't upload a photo there for almoust 2 years, and I only post status on Christmas, New Year's eve... you get the point.
There's no point even in me deleting Facebook, since there's nothing I have there.
I use other apps for texing, and Instagram for posting pics.

Maybe the problem is facebook themselves misusing our data, not the third parties
