it doesn't matter which hardware is faster, the user experience is the thing that really matter
and to all the who say Apple technology originated by samsung, you have no idea about the silicon industry
if we used your logic we would say that DELL,Nikon, blackberry and Sony technolgies are not original since their devices are manufactured by some Taiwanese/Chinese OEMS
apple chips and (SAMSUNG hummingbird) are basically ARM-A8 chips modified by an american company called Intrinsity, samsung just manufacture these chips like any OEM

Well iOS bit simple and easy to use but androïde is better u have More possibllite currently i used galaxy s , htc desire , xperia, and three iPhone 3G,3GS,iphone4, but for applications lauching Time web browning , GPS ,even Utube vidéos all run much faster on androïde phones.thanks

Funny how all the criticism always only comes from disgruntled haters in forum... morei would agree that its not the worst hardware but for me: software(too easy with not a lot of customization and personalization features) + hardware(nothing special or new) = not worth the price . Also i HATE the fact that i have to pay 100 buks for a chip that is worth 5 bucks at best more than what is in the thing (16-32gb)

i think Apple is a piece of costly metal , although the fact cannot be denied that they were the one who made the era of Smart Phones , but they shouldn't think themselves as a Monopoly in this market, but rather make that thing CHEEP for MANGO PEOPLE ! and compete with the Existing Devices and The World's most Awesome Mobile OS .!
Microsoft for example has an awesome OS Windows(R) , and although they were being a monopoly , but they had the curtsy to enhance creativity , yet as it is always prooved that they are on the creative part.

Funny how also in recent months, Google is now going the 'closed wall' approach with the motorola merger. Samsung now focusing on Bada as a result. Korea itself threatened by the merger are also developing their own OS. Last but not least, Android has just achieved the top platform for malware with a 76% increase, as per McAfees report.
Tsk tsk tsk, not so peaceful on the Android front is it? Criticising Apple is a waste of time, with so much in-fighting and problems within the Android camp itself.

After the tablet ban I read some comments like 'it must be a good tablet if Apple is so scared of it so I'll buy it even if I didn't want a tablet'. Apple advertises Samsung products effectively. Shouldn't they rather 'improve' the prices of their ipads? For example, if it costs 650 EUR, let it cost 500 EUR and so on. Isn't it a better strategy?

There is no immediate sale ban for Samsung.
Samsung can continue to sell all the Galaxy.
Apple has lost.
Samsung creates a new phone each 2 weeks (and not each year as Aplle).
So in october Samsung can propose an even better Galaxy under another name and Aplle will be mad.

Only people without knowledge in this area believe in Apple Phones (apple = great market), they have the worst hardware and a soso software if compare the great Companys, like Moto and Samsung. How a company with few years in this area can be better than others, open your eyes, compare the pones and learn, apple phones gives all of you stats, but stats it's not quality. I worked in Moto many years and Now Im in Samsung, and about Samsung, 60% off I Phone and Tabs tecnology are powered by samsung.

Samsung can only copy from apple, galaxy build quality also bad, the plastic look cheap. They can sell a lot of phone and tab because they copy everything from apple.

They sued over a whole list of patent infringements, ... moreThe fact remains that sueing someone over a galery...and the android galery isn´t even remotely like the iphone galery.Apple is just scared of android and therefore are trying to halt its growth and sales by doing this instead of inovating wich is what they should be doing

They sued over a whole list of patent infringements, which together, combined to emulate the whole 'look and feel'. If I am not mistaken, its over a list of around 20 patents. However, the decision taken by the court in this case, was regarding the gallery patent.

Great strategy, in the long run though those who do all the suing end up losing for lack of creativity. Bad news for potential Iphone 5 buyers, from the sounds of it.
