Dont buy those phones mate, you will be screwing the network.... I have seen network getting jammed due to some bug in the telephony software of the phone....

waltz, 25 Aug 2011How is the 101 not dual standby? You can clearly see 2 signal bars simultaneously in the video... moremy thoughts exactly, though it doesnt say in the official nokia page you will notice that in the photos it has 2 signal bars indicating that it is dual standby there is also a picture in nokia conversations showing the dual sim setting that looks just like the one in my x1-01

Question for Nokia, 25 Aug 2011Awesome this phone, but I've need cheap one phone only with: 1. Dual sim and DUAL STANDBY ... morePartially agreed.

              1. Dual sim and DUAL STANDBY==>Compare to X1-00, I believe Nokia is capable to deliver Dual SIM Dual Standby and this feature absolutely will be a standard in Nokia 101 with good performance
              2. photo camera (5 or more mega pixels)==>Camera with low pixls is just a decoration. I would prefer bring a cheap digital camera with me.
              3. FM radio ==>Seeing the introduce video, Nokia 100/101 support FM radio with a very fancy user interface. That really catch my eye ball
              4. MP3 player==>Nokia 101 support this feature, the good thing is the memory card support up to 16GB....hope it's not a type error...huh
              5. memory card==>I believe memory card support is standard in this product, otherwise MP3 player will be a nice decoration...

anyway, I believe this Nokia product will be fantastic in the S30 market. Lets see...

[deleted post]dude in india sim cards are very cheap you can even buy three sim cards for 10 rupees even some time they give it for free. and call rates have been down due to heavy competition between service providers so to use them people start buying them and use where call rate is low

As i said before, is better sell thousands of cheap phones than 1 expensive smartphone

And that's something Nokia knows well...

I see a bright future on Nokia, they are regaining loosing ground...slowly but steady

Whoa! What's that crashing sound I'm hearing? Oh, it's Android's marketshare! I bet those FanDroids are shaking on their boots after seeing this phone and realizing the prospect of having their vaunted marketshare collapse.

Nokia is back, indeed! Good job Nokia!

no matter how basic the phone is, it needs bluetooth. almost a legal requirement in many countries now a days... Hands Free!
