Anonymous, 09 Apr 2018The emoji keyboard is already there. It was introduced with the creators update last fall. No. It was in test mode for US English only. With 1803 it's being released and worldwide.
It was introduced in build 17101.

"Even these days, it still isn’t simple to summon Emojis while using a computer with a desktop OS like Mac, Windows, or Chrome OS," you can very easily on macOS and with the right extension on Chrome OS too; I do it all the time whenever I need to use an emoji, which isn't that often on desktop.

that's literally just a shortcut to macOS' default system emoji menu. That's why it's not working with windows and probably never will.
