forroati, 09 Apr 2018Why do we have this review on GSMArena?gsmarena blog competence was more than just talk about phones. it was treating different other topics like games for example. to be honest I would appreciate to see more articles about gaming as well.
It is amazing how the game succeded practically overnight...
What is the best available alternative in android?
This one knows how to do reviews. Detailed review with interesting facts related to the game and it's competitor. I've been visiting this site since non touch screen phones were a thing but this may be first comment. I'm that impressed by the review.
I don't mind graphics being lower quality, but 30fps cap AND touch controls are just unacceptable.
I do play on a PC - with lower settings because my Titan decided to go out in flames after 5 years of service and I can clearly see when I am fighting non-PC players. Even with aim assists they simply don't stand a chance - it's nice to have cross-platform, but I am not sure this game is better because of it.
+ If I remember correctly Android, unlike iOS, does have a mouse support, so even if you are on a pure mobile OS server, you can be decimated by a player with a mouse and keyboard anyway.
PS: Does Fortnite support gamepads on the mobile version?
Completely agree with the review.
I'm very good at the browse, run, flank, and shoot skill aspects. I can secure most kills. However, I'm horrible at the building aspect and that puts me barely at average.
And another thing that's missing are vehicles (bikes, buggies, cars, utes, trucks). This is a pretty good aspect of PubG, which I wish was emulated.
The mobile and console graphics of Fortnite is very good, but I'm not a fan of the overly cartoony visuals, especially when it comes to the weapons. On PC, it's quite a turn-off.
The one thing they get good is that it's not as cluttered as PubG, and straightforward to play. And they have no performance issues.
The one thing I'm wondering is how Android players will feel when they're using touch-controls and getting massacred by people using Keyboard and Mouse using Accessories, or better yet BlueStacks emulation.
The building mechanics is something that you can adjust to, as long as you practice building you can probably find the middle-ground to go against the good players, I honestly have no complaints about the weapons, its pretty balance since they also have color classes, so obviously there's a difference in dealing damage, I honestly suck at the game, rarely getting victory royale, probably dead within the top 50, but I still love the game.
