steve jobs is just another person. he did absolutely nothing incredible other than brainwash people.
Savor, 25 Aug 20112012? The Return of the King? Will that be Nokia or RIM?
And WP7 could really take off than... morebiases and fanboyism.
how can QNX the best?
if QNX that good,RIM will already sold million of playbook, but the fact?
how can web OS in the second? if webOS that good the palm pre 3 or touchpad will live on but the fact it died.
meego? is it that good? if meego better than ios or android, nokia will not suffer like now. and i know you never tried meego before so i know you dont have the right to predict this is the best or that worst.
you can put all your fave vendor OS on top like symbian, but in real life they cant sold that to customers anymore.
best OS base on sale:
-android
-iOS
the others just follow
and i think the next big thing is WP7 which bring a new way to work around your smartphone.
QNX webOS or meego just follow android or iOS UI or UX concept, its not so different just a different names and platform, but if you bring the hub and put another altenatif that make user easier to access than that smart and different.
sorry i'm not a simple human that can easily said this good that bad this best cause my fave vendor who make it,that bad cause apple make it or microsoft make it.
i love all vendor and like to try everything they make, and dont forget they dont pay you money to promote their OSes.
viva smartphone user, go to timbuktu fanboys gadget world will be better without you
after making a successful company he's going down. retirement fee ?anyone?
If only Steven Elope would do the same..
The end of a sect leader
The end of of shepherd
Say what u may but the steve jobs factor was an integral part of the apple brand. The fall of apple starts with the ip5
is tim cook and david cook brother? do they have any blood relation?
Great! That mean the next ipad and iphone will be much much better!!! Goodbye Steve!
BEWARE of TIM COOK! He may not have the charisma of Steve Jobs, but he is a genius at the marriage and law of supply and demand.
This is one of the many BULLYING practices Apple does to its smaller competitors. Since they control and buyout from the supply chain, most of its competitors are relegated using cheaper parts.
There was an article I remember reading recently where HP wanted to put a nicer screen to the TouchPad. They couldn't have access to it because it was all reserved to Apple.
Never equal popular to quality. The future of multi-tasking is what Palm tried to implement with webOS which QNX copied. Both Apple and Google will copy some of webOS' ideas with that card system since they are already copying things off each other! What Apple really has is the best app support and best ecosystem. Being great at external design has been in their DNA since the early-80's. They are great at marketing too although that magnetic force field from Steve won't be there anymore with words like "magical" or "revolutionary." If there is anytime Apple might look vulnerable, it is about 2-3 years down the road. Then Apple won't be work "like magic" anymore.
I still have hope for Android. I hope Matias Duarte (webOS UI mastermind) cleans it up. If I recall, Windows didn't get decent until 10 years after 1.0 with 95. Then it got pretty with Windows 7 after the disastrous Vista. That was a span of 22 years for Microsoft. Android is only three years old. Give it time.
Savor, 25 Aug 2011I don't understand why people are so sad by this news. It is not like he is dead. He is worth ... moreNice read, mate.
2012? The Return of the King? Will that be Nokia or RIM?
And WP7 could really take off thanks to Nokia
Samsung also has a shot since they make their own parts internally and externally. They also compete in several fields in the tech field. Apple dominates the supply chain which forces its competitors to use "cheaper" parts. Most of the best parts is reserved to them.
Nokia, RIM, and Sammy have the best shot at being the top dog.
The best mobile OSes (IM0)
1. QNX
2. webOS
3. MeeGo
4. iOS
5. WP7
6. Android
Savor, 25 Aug 2011I don't understand why people are so sad by this news. It is not like he is dead. He is worth ... moreHey buddy, this is a post to reply on what you posted.
Now Listen!!!
Its actually a big news that he is retiring, sorry for having a differing with you.The contribution this guy made with apple is so massive that ppl like you, me can not measure that. You said that apple had life and was running during the time he was'nt there. But it was like living like a begger and Microsoft dominating the digital market. It was he who came back to the company he founded, and brought it back to the present position. Now he does not have the technical brain for sure, but what could have Wozniak done without jobs,im sure you can see it urself now after he left apple.
If he did not have a great leadership mind and CEO execution how could be bring back apple back to the top of the world.Besides what makes you compare him with Genghis Khan.Genghis khan rules the workd with his fist,NOT his brain. So that was a stupid comparisn.
You are retarded man,how can Newton be the game changer when it did not sell well.May be you said it because it got Jobs got fired.
So please dont make stupid comments comments on thinks that you dont know.Thats for your own good mate.cheers
"Meh".
Savor, 25 Aug 2011August 15-24, 2011 -Googlerola -HP = Half Price -Apple CEO resigns Thank Obama for... moreI think you'll find Tim Cook is more than capable for the role.
time to say bye bye to Apple Stocks :) without Steve Jobs in the driver seat, "this changes everything again"
August 15-24, 2011

-Apple CEO resigns
Thank Obama for increasing the unemployment rate to all-time records in August! One helluva 9 days!
Fourteen years ago, Microsoft was helping Apple. Now Apple is more valued than Microsoft.
I am curious to see how well Apple without their hero. Steve Jobs' personality is an extension of Apple. He is their single vision. The man can't live forever. Even with the $75B of cash reserves, I can see Apple declining after two years. Won't happen immediately, but most people can't be using the same slate design forever with 500K apps that are mostly counter-productive. The craving for apps will die too once we get the bare essentials. The rest is overkill. Like in music, everything in cell phones can get played out.
Five years ago, the smartphone market was dominated by Symbian, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and Palm. Symbian will be dead soon. Palm is dead. WinMo got revamped. And RIM is losing plenty of marketshare.
Market is fickle and based on being hip or trends. Just five years ago, carrying a BlackBerry phone was a cool thing. Ten years ago, business people carried Palm Pilots. Not anymore. All about touchscreens and what Apple pushes out that looks "cool." That is the new gimmick and trend. But fads die too. Remember cameraphones? Remember RAZR's and Sidekicks? The taste changes and evolves. The tides turn fast. For all we know, iPhone will be a joke just like what happened to the Walkman series. Same with Android. Laughable to think Apple and Google are invulnerable. The tech world doesn't work that way. Look at Sony. Look at Nintendo with their 3DS after selling 150M of the DS.
