roopak, 18 Oct 2011i dont find any changes in software after update Well, there are changes, not game changing but there are some.
I have upgraded it last night so still not exactly sure but it seems to me battery life is better, it is nice to have themes, easier to share on facebook, some more apps (useless if you ask me...) and was able to delete all the bloatware from my carrier.
Less ram is available as there are more apps but it seems faster...
Camera is far better with panorama and 3d swipe and sound is much better with xloud.
Not sure what change with the dlna, it was supposed to be better and to have bi-directional support I think, but it looks the same to me. I can't access files stores in another drive with the phone and it would be nice to be able to do it

Symbian Belle is the android killer. It is by far better. It's programming is superior to heavy java android which. Although i defo prefer android to iOS. Now that Nokia have got it's focus and act together it is now officially on the rebound, and is still no.1 in market share. However when it comes to Belle, nokia will rise much higher than what it is now. From the majority of feed back from Belle, it appears as though Belle is more highly favoured than android. And from what i have seen from Belle i'm going for that above any other os as being an ex programmer the quality of belle is truly far superior to any other os other than meego. C++ is so much better for battery life and hardware than heavy java android. Belle is by far quicker even on a 1ghz phone than galaxy s2 - i know what i'm getting, a nokia 701 with belle on board. I currently have the c7 and has anna on board. Belle is 35% quicker than anna. Android is the vista of os's. You need so high ghz just to use the thing. Battery killer. nokia is the best. It's only because Americans can't see which is why there country is also going the same way as the people, downhill. Belle is best, do your self a favour. It is very highly rated and now nokia have some 1ghz phones with superb os programming to go with it. Even samsung is a bout to ditch android and make there launch there own os in q4

Anonymous, 25 Aug 2011just saying... i kinda feel like sony will get sued by samsung for that t9 trace but i'm not s... moreSamsung does not own that feature... Swype is a different Company altogether and the swype application is available for use as a third party app..although paid

Consider it as a licensed software which sony is giving away for free alongwith full compatibilty and embedding it with their own keyboard

AnonD-1131, 25 Aug 2011What's so special about Symbian Belle? Well it makes S^3's UI very modern and it's so good, ... moreI would not take your word for anything even if I was promised money to believe you.

You are the biggest fanboy on this comment section, and the most unrealistic at that, to a degree that starts to look like Trolling. In spite of countless arguments you simply reply 'Android sucks', and every development Nokia has made is represented as a new world era in mobile telephony.

You sir, are the saddest person here, open your eyes and look around you - the people who say Belle is similar to current version Android are absolutely right, I have seen and used both OSes next to each other. Many new options and UI changes are similar to what Android has been doing since Eclair/Froyo. Also, I'll have you know that millions of Android users have no issues with Android versions 2.2 and up, simply because they are stable builds that just *work*.

Do your homework and try to approach the market with an open mind, and you will see there is more on the horizon than Nokia's transfer to WP7 and the outsource of Symbian support and its discontinuation in 2016 - the curtain has already dropped yet you insist the play is still underway.

Don't make such a fool of yourself dude
