I'm not going to buy OnePlus 6 just because of notch !!! and that is the only reason.

IPhones are sold extremely expensive. Neither their hardware or any anything else is "better" than any Android "Premium" Smartphones. IPhone has a market share of 12.1% while Android has 87.7% (Gartner 2017 based on sol units).
However IPhones do get 80%+ of the profit of the smartphone market which shows basically that Apple was very good selling their devices more and more as a luxury product even their production costs are significantly lower than their selling price. Basically they have an OS that people like and they rip their customers off by selling for a ridiculous price :-)

We make comments about Notch or otherwise, but no mobile is left unsold, or carry over stock to next year. It's become traditional than actual. Millions of sets sold, so first forget this phobia of twice a year change. Obnoxious!

I am going to upgrade my S8 to Oneplus 6. This phone looks great. Only worry is the notch. And hope they improve the camera performance and make it close to the S8/S8+

Watching their forums i doubt that those fans will buy another One Plus. It's plenty of posts with unsolved problems. If you add that a lot of them don't like the notches plus the increased price... i can't visualize a good result in the sales.

It will be a good phone and people will buy it. I don't know why the notch is bothering so many fans on the forums. The normal behavior is to protest against the size. But anyway the phone will be popular.
