AnonD-17653, 10 Apr 2018I'd prefer last year's model over thisLast year's model had rhe worst StB ratio of all the "bezeless" phone, was the slowest (last gen soc, low ram), its camera was actually often worse than its predecessor, its battery was from hades (no ability to swap anymore, fairly small still).
It was probably the worst flagshipLG to date, how did anyone like it is betond me.
This at least tries to patch things up. High BtS ratio, higher than baseline ram (4gb is the minuimum at this point, only offered on low end solution), a *modern* SoC.
In genera, it seems to have learnt a lot from the failure that G6 was... how can you prefer the failure over this? (Or any other for that matter)

Somehow LG manages to screw things up with their flagships every year. As though they don't have a platform or identity. They just mix up every other design into 1. Lg G5 was a good concept and a base to build on to me. But they ditched it and went for in between ideas and designs. I wouldn't be surprised that they're running on massive loss every year on the phone division.

G6 and V30 were beauty models, this however is a total mess up.
Are they trying to sell their old phones this way and using this as their sacrifice!

Looks like they took both the minimal bezel from S9 and the notch from iPhone X. I much prefer the front of G6 because it is just so much more functional.

If this is the design language LG is going for this year, no thanks. This phone was already a no, thanks to that small battery, but despite those colors, the design is boring. And I know the US won't be getting the Moroccans Blues or Raspberry Rose anyway.
