Well if they can afford it, why not? Btw I've seen a British girl around 12 or something was bought an iPhone 7+ for her Xmas present when that phone was popular. I saw her video about "what's inside my iphone?" and it was mostly filled with social medias, photos and other multimedias, and some games.

Perhaps its trendy for kids to have an iPhone, but them expecting their next phone to be an iPhone points towards them being satisfied with what their phones do. Whatever they use their phone for, it does the job and its pleasing to use. This satisfaction and brand loyalty it creates is probably the more resounding message to get from the survey. Apple ranks no1 for this, so its not hard to see why they are so successful. There's strong correlation between the success of a brand and brand loyalty.

They said they prefer iOS over android. They didn't say they asked their parents or guardians for one. They didn't say they forced them to buy an iPhone.
They were asked if they expected their next phone to iOS or Android. Maybe they weren't happy with android or the app experience? Maybe they didn't appreciate the features of android? What this points to is them being satisfied with iPhones and iOS. Not being spoilt.
Stop being so poisonous. They aren't doing anything wrong with wanting to conform or vocalise their choice/preference. How do you know those kids haven't worked towards their iPhones?

Normal. Maybe american teenagers don't have huge hands like the kids in Asia and Eastern Europe. The iphones are the only phones which can be used by a non mutated human being. Not the plus versions.

Of course. Most of them are too dumb to spell "smartphone" correctly, let alone understand the sheer usability advantage android offers compared to a "walled in" OS like IOS. When all you'll be doing on your phone is taking a zillion selfies, posting inane and grammatically incorrect rubbish on FB and Instagram and texting other dimwitted idiots like you, iOS works brilliantly.
They buy what their gullible eyes see on TVs and billboards. Apple spends billions on marketing every year. Of course they will buy apple products.
