Noel, 11 Apr 2018I love the Note series but two things that have kept me from buying the recent models 1) curv... moreThis. A thousand times this!

Seems like every manufacterer is determined to align themselves to the 2018 'standard'. (5.7" - 6" 18:9 aspect ratio screen, usually with notch included) Seriously, every phone this year looks almost exactly the same, and the small, tall narrow screen isn't doing it for me. Yes, I consider 6" 18:9 too small for me. I would love a 6"+ "traditional" 16:9 ratio flagship phone. I believe there are plenty of people who would still go for that.

Either way, I'm hoping so hard that this 6.4" screen rumor is true. It would be a step in the right direction, IMO.

Why not just use a freaking full-sized plasma TV for a screen? Don't get me wrong, I like big screens but soon if screens keep slowly creeping up in size we will all be walking around with full-sized plasma TV's in our pockets. My Note 8 barely fits in my front pockets already. It is also the heaviest phone I have owned; heavier than any other note. Cannot imagine how much heavier and big it will be once it has a bigger battery and it's larger in size.

Bigger battery is essential. Battery was major let down for Note 8.

Zenodroid, 11 Apr 2018No worries m8, it's Samsung ;-) and if they use 4000mah, it will end up blowing again. https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_a9_pro_(2016)-7903.php

Well, a Samsung phone had 5000 mAh in a thin body with no reported problems.....

Zenodroid, 11 Apr 2018Omg, sheeps are still saying baaaah ;-) remember the note 7 was the first battery technology c... moreNo the note 7 didn't have a battrey technology change. They changed the way they test after the note 7 fiasco. And if you try a product and it fails why would you give it another chance? When you know there are others similar products with a clean history. But of course no sheep bigger than Samsung and apple because they wouldn't try anything and probably didn't try anything else because they just followed the hype. And Samsung sheep are worst because at least appearantly issues are trivial compared to an exploding battrey. I used to be a galaxy owner but my s6 edge died for no reason , no reason just died one day not even a year. I upgrade every year. That was the last Samsung I bought, because it's not just the phone, their monitor after about a year just went bad and started having line on my screen. Went to Asus monitors and never had an issue.

I would go back to buying the Samsung Note if they do increase their battery capacity.

Anonymous, 11 Apr 2018Lmao people still using using this "blowing note7" BS? StfuOmg, sheeps are still saying baaaah ;-) remember the note 7 was the first battery technology change in their flagships, and it went wrong. So of course something will go wrong again, since they now start to follow the same steps others did ages ago. Sorry sheep, but you can't change the fact that Samsung isn't the best anymore.
