Kiyasuriin, 11 Apr 2018If the Note 9 uses same chipset as S9 and Plus don't even botjer, grab the Mate 20 pro. End of... moredon't tell me that the rival has the s pen, too. if it hasn't, why would we hear you?
Note9 need 16:9 format back, this would make room for normal battery, BTW I don't know what's wrong with 16:9? On the other hand keep candy bar format for S series and that's it, problem solved, BTW it's fascinating how this days Screen Diagonal is offered as marketing spotlight while smaller diagonals at 16:9 have actually bigger screens...anyway...
shongohan, 11 Apr 2018I hate the current exynos for europe... I hope that they show a new model at least so fast as ... moreIf the Note 9 uses same chipset as S9 and Plus don't even botjer, grab the Mate 20 pro. End of story.
Anonymous, 11 Apr 2018Make it 6.6" and you have perfect build up : 5.8" S8, 6.2" S8+ , 6.6" Note 9.Haha niiice!
Increasing battery capacity (aka size) will most likely result in the removal of the headphone jack. Note 8 is an already packed phone and this will be the perfect excuse for Samsung.
Rip headphone jack
Zenodroid, 11 Apr 2018No worries m8, it's Samsung ;-) and if they use 4000mah, it will end up blowing again. How do you know it'll blow? Don't use Note 7's debacle.
Anonymous, 11 Apr 2018Note 5 was LAST TRUE NOTE with 16 :9 and FLAT screen. Others are Galaxy S8,9++Sorry, but that title goes to the Note 4.
Montreal, 11 Apr 2018In the end people with end up with TABLET sized "phones" ... all the time bigger and biggerWhy would the size of the Note Series matter if no one is forcing their product on you? Plenty of smaller device options on the market for those who prefer the smaller phones.
Putting big batteries on phones isn't unsafe. It's all about using high-quality hardware & thoroughly testing the phone before release.
Brands like Huawei, Razer, HTC, Motorola, etc have been putting 4000 mah (or slightly less) batteries on their phones without any issues whatsoever.
Samsung could do it too if they're willing to up their game... but it's less likely after the Note 7 fiasco.
Anonymous, 11 Apr 2018Go buy a 60inch TVWhere can I case for it? Lol.
Anonymous, 11 Apr 2018If samsung wants people to upgrade then
. It must have
MILT STD 810 G.
6.5 Inch screen ... more"128 gb hdd"
How are they going to fit a spinning disc in a phone?
(psst... hdd stands for HARD DISC DRIVE ;D )
Note9 will have the same old chipset as S9/S9+ & probably the same camera as well. It would be far more reasonable to go for Huawei Mate 20 Pro which will have the latest Kirin chipset (which appears to be much faster) & the new Leica triple camera setup (which is incredible). Just saying, i wouldn't hold my breath for Note9 when something much better is releasing around the same time. :D
Edit: Oh wait, i just remembered Americans can't buy Huawei phones... oh well, i guess you'll have to settle with the Note9 then. :p
That sounds great and the only thing you need to do Samsung is to give us flat screen. No more edges please.
After Note 8 is an epic fail on the battery it makes sense for a 4000 mah battery .
I hope the Note9 or the 2019 flagships have 8GB of RAM or a 4K display

Vic, 11 Apr 2018I might be getting Note FE as it was the last relatively compact and lightweight Galaxy Note. ... moreRemember Nokia 3310 was the toughest and meanest phone back then ;-) and it was bigger and heavier than the others.
I might be getting Note FE as it was the last relatively compact and lightweight Galaxy Note. Heavy and big 6 inchers are absolutely deal breakers for me.
