All have different notion, I also feel that a mobile should be of decent size that can easily fit in your pocket. A 3.5" size is quite good for a phone. And beyond that it is little bit irritating.

4" is quite small unless you haven't yet owned a smartphone on that size. For me, 4.5" is just a decent screen, and even if they make it 4.7" that would still be fine.

Great, I was worried that my Arc would be too outdated when this came out, but now that I know for sure Samsmug is making it, I can pass on it easily.

Sometime back I had the Galaxy Tab 7" and sold it when the 10.1 v came out because 7" felt too small for a tablet. I could not read magazines with it as they are basically soft the same format and size as the print versions.
The other thing is that if you have not matured to a level of smartphones then go buy yourself a dumb phone. Smartphones are pocket computers, the all in ones. They are mainly used for surfing the net, if your main use is putting the phone on your ear then these beasts are not meant for you.

For god sake we're not saying anything beyond 3.5 - 3.7 is big no we are speaking about 4inch screens which means they are big already!
Some people could deal with 4.2 although it's huge but 4.5 !! Come on give me a break, this is pure stupidity.
In the end of the day remember we are talking about a phone which is most importantly used for making/receiving calls! And hanging a 4.5 inch screen on your ears is not comfortable at all.
So stop giving lame excuses and just deal with reality.

That letter is fake.
Which legal person would send a letter w/o naming any paragraphs which the recipient has offended?
The letter doesn't mention which firmware version they demand back. If I owned that potential firmware I wouldn't even know Samsung is addressing me in it lol.

da3daluz, 27 Aug 2011Another plastic phone vs iPhone 5? Man, what a bad choice..I have Galaxy S, HTC desire HD (full metal) and I will take the much lighter Galaxy S2 (my son's)any time. I only wish it had 720p on that beautiful screen.
PS. iPhones are not designed for long life (minimalist approach, low specs for max 1 year) so durability is not relevant.
