In my 20 years of owning Nokia handphones, durability was no issue at all. My only logical conclusion is the authorised dealer I buy from checked the devices before they sell to customers. Or I'm super duper lucky.
Even my current E6 is working very fine.
Anyway, looks like this SE Nozomi wouldnt be making appearances till 2012

Both of them were genuine, I sold the c5 but I still have the 5130.

I drowned one for two minutes, put a hairdryer on it and removed the battery, and all that was broken was the camera, I've used it for two years after that.
Tell me again that ain't robust.

I wonder why SonyEricsson still going with a single core snap dragon and adreno 205 GPU as the HTC are using 1.4 GHZ dual core snapdragon and 220 GPU also the video that HTC are using is now 1080p HD while sony are limited with 720p HD .

While the single core CPU might not be a limiting factor the problem here arises from the use of the Adreno 205 along with a 720p screen, Hence if that rumors are true ( which i doubt ) the phone would be terrible when comes to gaming performance and other gpu intensive apps

[deleted post]lordalex, romania and russia are poor only on paper. here a man with 300 euro per month "official" will buy with any problem an iphone4 or nokia n8 with the money from a monkey-business or from the rent of 5 apartaments. here all people own 2-3 apartaments and live very good from rent. romanian people spend more money then they can do per month honest because are many "black money" on market. in the front of the blocks you'll see cars more expansive than the apartaments inside that block. if you go in a mall, almost all people have iphone or nokia over 200 euros each. we have here a black illegal market full of expansive mobiles brought illegal with zero taxes. cheap nokia are sold more in western europe where people make honest money,pay taxes and rents. here it is a shame to have a mobile under nokia 6700 level. think...

Good point but it's not complete. In Romania we have a lot of stupid mentalties as "Mercedes is the only car and nokia the only mobile phone". But this was until iphone entered in scene. If you had nokia, you were greater. Now...if you have iphone...you're the richest man in the world, powerfull and "smarter". There are another kind of people that can't live without blackberry. They are stilish, "managers" :)), etc.
Too many romanians don't have mobile phones. They have just...brands.

Orange sells service, not mobiles. It is not our policy to promovate one brand or another. 90% OF CUSTOMERS ARE ALREADY DECIDED because of crazy idea "nokia forever" with any other logic or they simply want to have the same menu they already know. Busy people do not have one day or one week to learn android, they want in general bigger display and more speed with the same symbian menu. i can tell you many customers have big problem to learn anna version wich is already installed on x7 and c6. about android they do not want to hear at all,pure and simple. mass market reality is very different from the needs of only 300 geeks posting here furiousand. series 40 is still the choice of millions of users, so let do not talk about android versions, cpu speeds,you make me laugh. if you wanna make money,you must sell what is popular. it is like you stay one month to sell a lamborghini aventador and meanwhile i sold already 10 ships full with vw golf
