90% of mobiles users do not care at all about o.s., cpu speed, dual core. businessmans,doctors,lawyers and other people wich do not have any interest for telecommunications they all want a simple and robust mobile from...nokia. they only want to show-off with a nokia or apple product. i make sales statistics every day for orange: iphone4,3, nokia n8,c7,e 72, e6, e7,c5-03,6700, blackberry are in the front of the list. all your samsungs and s.ericssons with no matter what o.s. or cpu are so far away at the end of the list. it is like you are talking about the latest dect phones with android and all people want and buy in fact siemens gigaset or it is like you are talking here about lamborghini when all people have a renault or a vw-group car. come on...

i laugh every time i read your posts. here are a few people wich think their opinion is the center of the universe. i make sales statistics of gsm terminals sold every day by orange romania and also i have access at the sales statistics of all orange in u.e.. iphone 3,4 and nokia ALL SERIES are in the front of the list. samsung and s.e. are at the end of the list ESPECIALLY THE EXPANSIVE HIGH-ENDS from this brands with all their cores and androids. in fact every one likes to use nokia and iphone and 90% of terminals users DO NOT CARE ABOUT o.s., cpu. they want to show-off with a product from apple or nokia. that's all. understood?

no no no no no I cant take it. I wish this dont become a reality. man, I am a big time Sony fan. the next se flagship is a single core!, how could they think of it? its such a wrenching havok compition and you se, "have to compete" try to give best, dont experiment.

why do they use 1.4GHz single-core while Foxconn have announced 1.5GHz dual-core?
with a display that big, the processing power will not be enough...

That's why their flagship is midtier... moreWhen single-core phones like Xperia Arc and iPhone are compared to dual-core SGS2 (often by samsung fans), it proves that dual-core in 2011 doesn't make much different practically. Don't count numbers and specs, but see real world performance. SE phones might be 2 years late on paper, but always are compared to the best and most modern phones and even they are less expensive.

Adreno 205 isn't powerful enough to handle a 720p screen,well yes,it'can play 720p video smoothly,but gaming at 720p,the GPU might burned.

i work in mobile retail and our sony ericson rep said there is a duel-core handset coming out start of 2012.. duel-core not really nessesary for todays android but still should be interesting :)
