Was really looking forward to a 4K 18:9 OLED panel from Sony. What a disappointment.
I guess that's not coming this year. Maybe the Samsung Note X will fulfill this desire !!!!!

as much as i love sony (been a sony user since W810i), their phone just doesnt live up to their competition. sure, 4k screen. but after that? although they are great in producing mobile cameras - which is used by competitors, their own implementation on their phone just fails. also, the fingerprint sensor, wth? that is a sure disaster in misplacing the fingers in the camera sensor and smudge it. to be better, you need to find weakness in your competitors. develop a new screen which can compete with OLED. produce the most innovative camera but dont sell it - use it instead. just sell the ones thats less impressive. put out walkman phones again and make that most out of that brand - create/produce DACs. shhh.. much better, fire all your designers/engineers and find a new/young talents.

As a Sony user and fan, I agree I didn't like the new design at first, but it's growing on me.. I still think the monolithic design is the best looking one.
The only downside for me in this phone is the lack of the 3.5mm jack, but as long as I can use a split adapter to charge while using the headphones, I'm ok.
Even if Sony makes the perfect phone, there will still be a hater to complain. That's the only thing they're capable of. You know, animals fear the unknown :))

Thats one heavy boy indeed but cant judge till I grab it. So Sony joined the dual cam race with monochrome ala Huawei, kinda weird they dont have the same 40MP beast they created for P20. No headphone jack still a bummer I guess...

Eh. the design could be better. I am for the central design. but this is so wrong imo... it's TOO centered! The weight is also exaggarated. 240 grams! O_O
