Sony has the worst service centers and often times you cant find and very rare. In my country, samsung, LG etc have theirs literally just in the neighborhood... When my Z Ultra had its flap removed, water intruded in it and eventually malfunctioned. We sent to service center 300km away from our house and in 1 year nothing happened. We pulled it out and sent to ordinary phone repair shop then it works.... I purchased also sony 4k tv KD55-XBR900c which very expensive. Php 222k at that time. 1 yr after we noticed vertical lines progressing rapidly till total black-out. We sent to service around 120km away from our house. Upon arriving , servicemen just said JUST BUY NEW ONE AS ITS TOO EXPENSIVE TO DO IT just like that. Foolish service center... Now i bought another. This time the Sony OLED A1 TV. Hope sony will have their own service center in more locations and must be friendky service.

If only the “4K” was not restricted to Sony apps, it would be a great phone.
Buying premium price for common FHD 1080p screen is a big NOPE.

and I also do not know where theirs service desk is .. did not need one too!
770385....this gonna be super expensive and out of my reach.... i'm so satisfied with XZ Premium.. so far so good, and it's the best in the hood.

Never neede... moreactually many people prefer to buy cheap phones. they dont even care about the brand names. they just want to be able to communicate and they dont care about games, specs, and gimmicks. this is the reason why those china brands gain much popularity.
those brands might be just trash according to us, but not according to many people out there.

Never neede... morei live in big city in indonesia. many china brands open their official service centers here. and their services quality is good. and ofcourse bigger brands like apple and samsung have better customer services, except sony.
ibadmit sony's service is the worst here, thats why most people dont buy xperia, so sony decided to stop selling phones here since the end of 2015.

china brands like xiaomi oppo huawei is same with appl.
cheap local brands made by my country is the third.
the last one (the worst, much much worse than all brands above) is SONY.

I wonder if this 4k hdr screen has 1.06 billion colours, as mentioned before or may be 120 hz refresh rate for smooth gaming

When sony don't change design people want sony have to change design so I will buy sony. People give excuses about bezzles and now sony make less bezzles then people make excuse that sony is become copy cat now sony change design so people like old design and make excuses. Ultimately if you don't want to buy sony then you have planty excuses to not buying it. So go and buy phone that you like. not make garbage comments about sony phones

Since they're used to seeing features highlighted like OIS, slim phones because that's what many companies are trying to offer their consumers. Companies do things like market research and such, you know, so they do have some idea what people want.
No matter how you twist it, Sony would appear to be a niche brand which a small but apparently ultra-loyal fan base, seeing as they're apparently going against the flow as to what most people want.
