It's nice that this Premium is using Exmor sensors instead of IMX but it's not nice that they're still using the jackless, HTC-like Ambient Flow. I wish the Pro version if it's still being released will use a monolithic design like OmniBalance and more than 83% screen to body ratio.

I think it will not be necessary to even read the review and less the comments. At the end of the day, you can already imagine the herd of Sony claiming how amazing photos are with noise and artifacts. Trying to indoctrinate people that this is the best thing even if they lack definition in the details and the silhouette of the objects is broken. And they will be watching the comments 24/7 to have the last word as good fans they are. ZZzzzz ....
Nothing new on the horizon, a very heavy and expensive brick. This 240g should cost around 1000 euros ($ 1238). $ 5.16 each gram. The Zenfone 5z sounds more reasonable for these summer. Or the Mi7 or the Samsung S9 + that should be cheaper in summer. With better designs, prices and useful additional features, such as the fingerprint sensor under the screen in the Mi7.

Th... moreSony improve many things including the heat dissipation, loudest speakers, lowlight quality etc and bring many world first technology for mobile phones like Predictive Capture, 3D Creator, 4K HDR display, 4K HDR record, SDR upscale to HDR, LDAC, DSEE HX, and so much more, what are you envy if your phone just lack of all of these.

Personally I think the XZ2 in black color is beautiful than white color, but the XZ2 Premium is different, the XZ2 Premium white color is beautiful than it black color. Does anyone feel the same with me?

Specwise... it's stunning; and it kept the 16:9 ratio (similarly due to a Qualcomm limitation) - I can't think a reasonable argument to bash this phone like many here does. As for the absence of a headphone jack thanks to Sony's new political-trendy-iMitation and this new "Ambient Flow" design is a no go for me... but overall the hardware is just... impressive!

11.9mm thick and 6.4mm at the edges? And weighing almost 240g, That makes for a large device by comparison to the average sub 7mm range, and again with those gargantuan bezels, i guess there is still a market for those types of device, not my taste but each to their own

Just look at comments! And the device is not yet even out, it just shows how people have that love for Sony while others pretend not to. But all in all I will always appreciate the uniqueness and quality of Sony brand!

Both sensors are the same size but different F-stop lens? Why? It'd just means the image cannot be aligned.

Amike, 16 Apr 2018why persist in error with an outdated and horrible design. It's very japanese, corporation and executives never admit error, unless they are ready to leave the work in shame.
